Jose Mourinho has confirmed to Football London that Dele Alli has not been in Tottenham Hotspur training recently due to an injury problem.
There was much debate around Alli when he once again missed out on playing for Spurs last weekend in their clash with Sheffield United.
However, it seems that the England international was simply injured – rather than overlooked.
And Alli is part of a group of Tottenham players who now are doubtful to play against Wycombe Wanderers in the FA Cup.
“The injury, no doubts, is still Giovani Lo Celso who will be a couple more weeks. We have two or three players who have small injuries,” Mourinho said.
“Matt Doherty, who was not involved at Sheffield, Dele Alli, has not been training in recent days with small problem in the tendon, and Serge Aurier, not really well. We still have three days before the match though.”

Spurs are unlikely to risk any players who are nursing problems in a game against Wycombe.
While Mourinho has outlined his objective to win every trophy Tottenham enter this season, the FA Cup isn’t their priority compared to either the Premier League or Europa League.
Alli may be disappointed to miss out though, as if he had been fit he could have been in line for a rare start.
Alli featured in Tottenham’s third round clash with Marine, and impressed as Spurs cruised into the fourth round.
