The path could be clear for West Ham United to finally sign Michy Batshuayi.
Batshuayi snubbed West Ham for Chelsea in 2016 after the Hammers had a £30million bid accepted by Marseille.
The Belgian opted for London rivals Chelsea instead but barely been used by Blues boss Antonio Conte this season or last.
As as a result the 24-year-old has been linked with both loan and permanent moves to the London Stadium once again in the summer and the January window.
David Moyes is reportedly keen to sell strikers Diafra Sakho and Andre Ayew which would leave them with only injury prone Andy Carroll and Javier Hernandez as recognised strikers.
And Carroll himself has been linked with a shock move to Stamford Bridge.
Last week Conte said he would not stand in Batshuayi’s way if he wanted to leave in search of more game time ahead of the Russia World Cup in the summer, as reported by The Telegraph.
Now Batshuayi himself may have cleared a path for a move across London with his latest performance in Chelsea’s drab 0-0 draw against Norwich City in the FA Cup.

In a Blues side well below par, Batshuayi turned in a woeful performance when given a rare opportunity and was rated the club’s worst player in the game, earning a match low rating of 4/10.
With the window now open and Chelsea expected to try and strengthen up front, Batshuayi looks certain to leave, most likely on loan, which will suit the Hammers with a possible option to buy at the end of the season.
