Tottenham Hotspur youngster Marcus Edwards has not been included on their pre-season tour.

Mauricio Pochettino has surely just delivered the fatal blow to Marcus Edwards’ Tottenham Hotspur career by leaving him out of their pre-season squad.
Tottenham are set to tour America, and Pochettino has named a number of promising youngsters in his team.
However, Edwards has not been included – and that is surely the biggest indicator that the youngster is set to leave Tottenham this summer.
The Guardian had suggested that Edwards was set for the exit at Spurs last month.
And Pochettino’s decision today surely adds credence to those reports.
Edwards was once regarded as the most exciting prospect breaking through at Spurs, but his attitude has come into question recently.

The skilful attacker was sent out on loan to Norwich City last term, but he did not feature once, with Canaries boss frequently questioning the youngster’s work-rate.
Pochettino, himself, appears to have doubts over the youngster – and if he is not going on pre-season with the first-team, then there is surely no way that Edwards will be able to force his way back into contention at Tottenham.
