Tottenham Hotspur took on Real Madrid in the Champions League this evening.

Lord Sugar seems to have suggested on social networking site Twitter that he was pleased that Harry Kane did not score the first goal for Tottenham Hotspur against Real Madrid this evening.
Tottenham took on Madrid away from home at the Santiago Bernabeu in the Champions League tonight.

The Premier League club took the lead in the 28th minute. Initially it appeared that it was Kane who had scored, but television replays showed that it was actually an own goal from Madrid defender Raphael Varane.
Former Tottenham chairman Lord Sugar was following the match, and he seems to have suggested on Twitter that he is pleased that it was not Kane’s goal that broke the deadlock at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Kane is one of the best strikers in the world, and if the England international had scored, then Madrid could have been enhance their efforts to sign him.
According to a recent report in The Mirror, the defending European champions are planning to make a £150 million bid for the 24-year-old.
Lord Sugar has stated on Twitter that he does not want Madrid to snap up Kane.
