Jurgen Klopp’s side hammered Maribor 7-0 away from home in Champions League Group E.
It was arguably the best performance from the Merseyside outfit so far this season in any competition.
Roberto Firmino (two) Mohamed Salah (two), Philippe Coutinho, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Trent Alexander-Arnold scored the goals for the Reds.
Linda Pizzuti Henry has taken to Twitter to give her reaction to the win for Liverpool, and she seems to have hit back at the team’s critics.
The Reds have been criticised for their problems at the back, as defensively they have looked vulnerable so far this season.
Meanwhile, a number of Liverpool players have taken to Twitter to revel in the win against Maribor.
The win on Tuesday means that the Reds are now at the top of Champions League Group E with five points from three matches, level on points with second-placed Spartak Moscow and a point clear of third-placed Sevilla.
