Has Liam Henderson played his last game for Celtic as a move to Bari edges nearer?

Liam Henderson is on the brink of joining Serie B side Bari on loan from Celtic, according to The Daily Record.
The 21-year-old, who has managed 11 Premiership appearances under Brendan Rodgers in 18 months, is out of contract at Parkhead in the summer.
And with no talk of an extension, it seems like it might be the beginning of the end for Henderson’s long career with the Scottish champions.

Rodgers’s comments about Henderson last summer offered a glimmer of hope for his spell with the Bhoys, whom he joined as a 12-year-old, but the writing appears to be on the wall.
If the Northern Irishman had long-term plans for him then surely he’d have already been signed up to a new deal before the loan, but Rodgers’s comments from last May suggested that he did have high hopes for the midfielder.

“As time goes on, he impresses me even more. He’s only 20,” the former Liverpool manager told The Scottish Sun.
“What I love about Liam, he’s got great personality. Now you see the discipline in his game, and he’s got a goal in him.
“He’s got a personality that you need to play for a club like Celtic.”
It hasn’t quite worked out for the youngster, as it wouldn’t for a lot of gifted players by virtue of how many brilliant midfielders Celtic have in the squad, but it doesn’t appear as if Rodgers is as optimistic about him as he once was and few would be surprised if he never pulled on the shirt again.
