Leeds United were reportedly looking at West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Jonathan Bond as a loan signing before the match against Bristol City.

Huffer featured for Leeds in goal in their 2-0 win against City at Elland Road in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
It was the 20-year-old goalkeeper’s competitive debut for the Whites, and the chance arose due to the injury suffered by Bailey Peacock-Farrell and Jamal Blackman’s early return to Chelsea from his loan spell.
Prior to the match, there was speculation that Leeds were looking at singing a goalkeeper on an emergency loan deal.
According to The Yorkshire Evening Post, the Championship club were assessing emergency goalkeeping options and were looking at West Bromwich Albion’s Jonathan Bond.
Bond joined West Brom on a free transfer in the summer of 2018 and has struggled for playing time at the Championship club so far this season.

Leeds head coach Bielsa’s comments, though, suggest that he was not looking at the 25-year-old, as he had already decision to start Huffer in goal against City.
Bielsa told Leeds Live after the win against City if he looked at signing another goalkeeper: “I knew that Will Huffer would play.”
