Eunan O’Kane is just of a number of first-team stars that will miss Leeds’ controversial trip to Myanmar.

The Yorkshire Evening Post have reported that a number of Leeds United’s first-team stars will be missing this week’s trip to Myanmar, and Eunan O’Kane is one of the bigger names that will be absent.
Leeds’ controversial trip to the war-torn country of Myanmar seems them face a Myanmar National League All-Stars team on Wednesday, before going up against Myanmar’s national side on Friday.
A handful of first-team stars have made the trip, including Bailey Peacock-Farrell, Andy Lonergan, Luke Ayling, Tom Pearce, Samu Saiz, Kalvin Phillips, Ronaldo Vieira, Jay-Roy Grot, Paudie O’Connor and Calen Ekuban.

Youngsters Tyler Denton, Pascal Struijk, Jack Clarke, Hugo Diaz, Jamie Shackleton, Alex Machuca, Bryce Hosannah, Oriol Rey, Sam Dalby, Ryan Edmondson, Madger Gomes, Callum Nicell have also been included.
Ireland international O’Kane had expected to be included after playing just three minutes of Leeds’ last six games, but Heckingbottom’s decision to overlook the 27-year-old cast his future into more doubt?
The former Bournemouth midfielder has been way below par this season, despite being given chance after chance by both Heckingbottom and Thomas Christiansen.

The midfielder has been at fault for a number of goals against Leeds, and he is proving to be somewhat of a liability in possession. Adam Forshaw, Kalvin Phillips and Ronaldo Vieira are considered above him in the pecking order.
With Poland international Mateusz Klich returning from his loan with FC Utrecht, surely Heckingbottom’s decision to leave O’Kane behind is a sign that the former Barnsley boss has realised that Leeds are better without him?
The summer transfer window is approaching, and O’Kane should be offloaded if a bid comes in for the former Torquay midfielder.
