Glasgow Rangers goalkeeper Jak Alnwick has been linked with a move away from Ibrox this summer.

Amid reports linking him with a move away from Rangers this summer, Jak Alnwick appears to have dropped a major hint on Twitter that he will be staying at Ibrox during this window.
The Scottish Sun reported earlier this week that Shrewsbury had been eyeing up a move for the Gers stopper, who has predominantly been Wes Foderingham’s understudy in the Scottish Premiership and made the majority of his appearances for the Light Blues in the cup competitions.

However, The Scottish Sun added that the transfer fee and potential wages are likely to price the Shrews out of a move for the 24-year-old, who did impress the Rangers fans during his run in the side during the final weeks of this past season.
And Alnwick appears to have hinted on social media that he will not be leaving the Gers by commenting on the start of pre-season and suggesting how excited he is for the new campaign. The inclusion of the blue, white and red colours and a photo of Alnwick walking out at Ibrox certainly suggests that that is where he is intending to play his football next term.
Here is what Alnwick posted on social media…
Of course, it would be foolish to assume that Alnwick has definitely confirmed that he will be a Rangers player next season. There is a long way to go in the window and right now, it would appear that he may be set to be third choice for the Gers next season with Allan McGregor battling Foderingham for the number one spot.

The former Newcastle prospect appears to have the potential to play a very decent level in the future and the chance to be number one elsewhere would surely be tempting if it was offered to him.
But with Steven Gerrard arriving at Rangers, it appears set to be an extremely exciting time for the club – and Alnwick is seemingly set to be a part of it if his tweet does provide a clue on his future.
