West Ham United and Everton target Jack Wilshere has still not had contract talks at Arsenal.

Jack Wilshere of Arsenal is closed down by Tiemoue Bakayoko of Chelsea during the Carabao Cup Semi-Final Second Leg at Emirates Stadium on January 24, 2018 in London, England.

Jack Wilshere has told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, which was broadcast on TalkSPORT on 16th March, that he is yet to sit down with Arsene Wenger to discuss his Arsenal future.

Wilshere’s contract at the Emirates Stadium is set to expire at the end of the summer, with his future heavily speculated about.

Everton and West Ham United have both been heavily linked with the midfielder recently, as reported by the Guardian.

And Sam Allardyce and David Moyes may take hope from Wilshere’s latest comments about his future.

He said: “When the time is right we’ll have a conversation and see how we go from there.”

There is very little doubting that Wilshere, on technical ability, would improve both Everton and West Ham.

The Toffees and the Hammers have been two of the Premier League’s biggest under-performers this term, with frustrations rising at both clubs.

However, Wilshere’s injury record is some concern – especially as both Everton and West Ham have struggled to keep players off the treatment table of late.

Everton and West Ham are both expected to invest heavily in their squads when the transfer window re-opens, and Wilshere could be one of the biggest bargains on the market, if his contract does expire.
