Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has been linked with a move to Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.
Lloris made his 200th Premier League appearance for Tottenham against Stoke City away from home at the bet365 Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The 31-year-old goalkeeper has been on the books of Spurs since 2012 when he joined from Lyon for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £11.8 million.
The France international goalkeeper, who earns £120,000 per week as salary according to The Daily Star, has said that he wants to play in many more games for Tottenham.
Lloris told Tottenham’s official website on making his 200th Premier League appearance for the club: “I can be proud of that and hopefully there will be many more in the future.”
Hint on long-term future?
Lloris’s current contract with Tottenham runs until the summer of 2022, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk, and it seems that the France international goalkeeper is going nowhere.
The former Nice star has been linked with a move away from Spurs, with The Mirror claiming in December 2017 that Real Madrid will make an approach for him in the summer transfer window if the North London outfit fail to win a trophy this season.
The goalkeeper’s comments, though, suggest that he does not plan to go anywhere anytime soon.
