Tottenham Hotspur entertain bitter rivals West Ham United in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.

Tottenham have already beaten West Ham this season after a 3-2 victory over the struggling Hammers at the London Stadium last month.
Slaven Bilic is under huge pressure with the East Londoners sat precariously above the bottom three on goal difference, winning just two of their first nine games of the new season.
Spurs meanwhile are looking in top shape and sit second in the Premier League table following the 4-1 thrashing of Liverpool which came just days after securing an impressive 1-1 draw with European champions Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.
West Ham were humiliated 3-0 at home by newly-promoted Brighton last time out – the visitors’ first top flight away win since 1983.
So Tottenham go into the cup game as overwhelming favourites despite the fact it is a local derby with pride at stake.
Indeed many Hammers fans feel their rivals could field a second string side and still beat them comfortably on current form.
But Harry Kane is either paying West Ham undue respect or the superstar striker has forgotten they are playing their rivals this week if his recent comments are anything to go by.
“We’re in very good form, we’ve got a very tough month, we’ve started it very well but we’ve got tough games coming up,” Kane said after the 4-1 win over Liverpool in which he bagged a brace.
“We’re positive, we’re feeling good we’ve just got to make sure we recover well and be ready for the next one.”
That “next one” is the Hammers at Wembley on Wednesday night.
It is a game which could define West Ham’s season while Spurs have their eyes on bigger things with Manchester United and another game against Real Madrid looming on the horizon.
