Glasgow Rangers midfielder Josh Windass has been linked with a move from Ibrox to Leeds United.

Murty has revealed that there have been enquiries about Rangers players in the January transfer window, and the Ibrox manager has made it clear that they will not sell on the cheap.
When asked by STV what his message for clubs interested in his players would be, Murty responded: “Bring a big chequebook.”
Murty added: “We had one offer from Preston for Josh, that was turned down and that’s it so far. We’ve had enquiries for other players but they are ours until that changes.”

The aforementioned comments of Murty are quite pertinent in regard to Leeds United’s reported interest in Rangers midfielder Josh Windass.
According to The Daily Record, Leeds in the Championship in England are interested in signing the 24-year-old midfielder in the January transfer window.
It has been reported that the West Yorkshire outfit are prepared to offer £500,000 as transfer fee.

However, it was the same offer that Preston North End made for Windass and which Rangers rejected, as reported by The Daily Record.
Windass has established himself as an important player for Rangers, and it is hard to see the Gers selling the midfielder for just £500,000 this month.
Moreover, Rangers are aiming to finish second in the Scottish Premiership this season, and the Glasgow giants will be determined to keep hold of their best players.
