Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers were beaten 3-1 by St. Johnstone in their most recent outing.

Rangers were beaten 3-1 by St. Johnstone at Ibrox yesterday, in what was a damaging defeat.
And Alves seems to have suggested that Rangers were too attacking during the contest.
The Portuguese international felt that Rangers went forward without concern of the damage that could be done to them on the break, and that ultimately proved costly.

“Sometimes it is not just mistakes. Sometimes you need to value what the opponent did and the quality,” Alves said.
“I don’t believe they were mistakes but we need to be more focused and try to be more away from our box and prevent the counter-attack.
“We are always attacking but we also need to prepare to defend when we lose the ball.”
Alves’ comments throw into question Murty’s tactics for the contest, with the caretaker boss suffering arguably the most disappointing result of his time in charge so far.

Murty has sparked an improvement at Ibrox, which had seen Rangers win three matches in a row for the first time this season, prior to their match against St. Johnstone.
Rangers have now slipped back down to third in the Scottish Premiership table, with Aberdeen leapfrogging them in the standings.
