Liverpool’s Rhian Brewster is said to be keen on a move to Germany, after Everton’s Ademola Lookman has enjoyed great success there.

Everton’s Ademola Lookman may have inadvertently played his part in a potential Liverpool sale of Rhian Brewster.

According to the Guardian, Liverpool are fearful of losing Brewster to the Bundesliga this summer.

That would be a bitter blow for the Reds, as Brewster was tipped by Jurgen Klopp to have a first-team role to play next season, as reported by the Telegraph.

Lookman’s progress in Germany surely must have played some role in convincing the 18-year-old that a switch to the Bundesliga would be appealing.

Lookman joined Red Bull Leipzig on loan from Everton in the January transfer window, and he has been in wonderful form.

The Toffees youngster has hit give goals and claimed four assists in 11 Bundesliga appearances.

The £11 million signing from Charlton is part of a rising number of English youngsters in Germany, with Reece Oxford and Jadon Sancho also plying their trade there.

And it seems that the Everton man’s success may well have played its part in causing complications at Liverpool, with Brewster’s future now in doubt.
