Everton have been heavily linked with a move for Steven N’Zonzi recently.

Sam Allardyce’s high praise of Sevilla, surely makes it even more likely that Everton will move for Steven N’Zonzi in the summer.
Everton have been heavily linked with a £25m move for N’Zonzi in recent times in the Liverpool Echo, but decided against making a bid for the French midfielder in the January transfer window.
The Toffees boss did travel to Old Trafford to watch Sevilla take on Manchester United in the Champions League in midweek though.
And he will almost certainly have been impressed by N’Zonzi’s performance on the night.

Sevilla won the tie 2-1 to progress to the next round, with N’Zonzi starring in the contest.
Allardyce said of the Spanish side: “I was very impressed with Sevilla on the night, they were absolutely outstanding and how they mastered the pressure of Old Trafford.”

N’Zonzi’s performance in the contest was one of the major reasons why Sevilla had such control of the match.
The former Blackburn and Stoke man dictated the pace of the game, and helped Sevilla win the midfield battle.
If N’Zonzi was to sign for Everton he would significantly improve their midfield options, and could replace the under-fire Morgan Schneiderlin in their squad.
