Manchester United and Inter Milan could finally do business this January.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho was frustrated to miss out on one of his key transfer targets this summer when Inter Milan blocked their advances for Ivan Perisic.
Now Inter Milan are reaching out to United over a player of their own, potentially opening the door to negotiations over Perisic and a potential swap deal.

Mkhitaryan is reportedly their top transfer target for January, with their initial aim being a loan deal with an option to buy.
In this case it is United who hold the power, and they could utilise it to to re-ignite talks over Perisic.

Perisic signed a new contract in September, but if Inter were to accept an offer from United, it would be hard to see him turning the Red Devils down.
This season he has been in excellent form, with seven goals and six assists in 17 games, and United should have a simple outlook when it comes to Inter’s advances for Mkhitaryan… give us Perisic or forget it.
