Newcastle United target Ruben Loftus-Cheek has been advised to stay at Chelsea by Dennis wise.

Although any deal would likely have required Kenedy’s move to be made permanent, and the England international to be brought in on loan, Newcastle were apparently looking at ways of making the transfer work.
However, Wise, who used to work at Newcastle, has told Loftus-Cheek to stay at Stamford Bridge.
He said: “I think Loftus-Cheek now needs to stay.
“I think he’s proved himself capable. I think he needs to compete for places as well.
“I think what is really pleasing is seeing Loftus-Cheek wants to come back early.
“He’s come back a week earlier than expected which I think is brilliant, it shows his desire to want to compete for places this year and wants to do well for the football club.”

Whether Newcastle had the financial strength to complete a deal for Loftus-Cheek remains up for debate anyway, given that Mike Ashley has failed to back Rafael Benitez with major funds so far this summer, but Wise’s comments are highly unlikely to help the Magpies.
Newcastle have already brought in four new players so far this summer, with Salomon Rondon also expected to arrive soon.
Benitez is keen to bring in more talent before the close of the transfer window though, and Loftus-Cheek could’ve been a highly exciting signing.
