Everton attacker David Henen seems to have suggested on social networking site Twitter that he is leaving the club.

Henen joined Everton on a season-long loan deal from Olympiakos in the summer of 2014 when Roberto Martinez was in charge of the Toffees.

The Toffees secured the services of the 21-year-old on a permanent contract in the summer of 2015 for an initial transfer fee reported by The Liverpool Echo to be worth £200,000.

The former Belgium Under-19 international, who can operate as a striker or as a winger, has struggled to break into the Everton first team, and it seems that he is set to leave Everton.

Henen has posted the following message on Twitter which suggests that he is bidding the Merseyside club a fond farewell, and Everton fans have responded to his message on the social networking site.

Everton are ninth in the Premier League table at the moment with 42 points from 34 matches.

The Toffees are not having a great season, but Sam Allardyce’s side could finish in the top half of the table and perhaps even eighth.
