Sunderland manager Jack Ross could end up at Celtic in the future, suggests David Hay.

Ross was appointed the manager of Sunderland earlier this summer after he guided St. Mirren to promotion from the Scottish Championship to the Scottish Premiership at the end of last season.
The Black Cats will be aiming to win promotion from League One in England next season after getting relegated from the Championship.
Former Celtic midfielder and manager Hay, who was also in charge of St. Mirren in 1991-92, has suggested that Ross could end up as the Celtic boss in the future.

Hay wrote in The Glasgow Evening Times after meeting with Ross in Portugal: “I was told on my visit that Sunderland were out there and so I decided to go over to watch them and if at all possible say hello to their new manager. And I’m really glad I did.
“Jack Ross is an impressive guy and it was a real pleasure to have a chat with him. He’s a really nice man, clearly intelligent and I could see for myself how good a job he is already doing at Sunderland by the way his players were training.”
“It will be interesting to see how he does; however, I am sure he will be a success,” added Hay. “I had never met him before. First impressions do count and I came away thinking that this guy had what it takes.
“Maybe we will see Jack back in Scotland a few years from now. And if we do one day, I have a feeling I know which club he would like to manage…”

Future Celtic manager?
Brendan Rodgers is in charge of Celtic at the moment, and the former Liverpool manager has been a huge success at Celtic Park.
The Glasgow giants have won the domestic treble for the past two season and have also featured in the group stage of the Champions League for the last two campaigns.
However, Rodgers is not going to be at Celtic Park forever, and maybe in the coming years Ross could get the role at the Hoops.
