Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic and Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers have been linked with Peterborough United’s Jack Marriott in the summer transfer window.

Brendan Rodger’s Celtic and Steven Gerrard’s Rangers have been linked with Jack Marriott of Peterborough United in the summer transfer window, with Leeds United and Sheffield Wednesday also claimed to be interested in him.
According to a report in The Scottish Sun this week, both Rangers and Celtic are keeping tabs on the 23-year-old striker.
It has been reported that both the Gers and the Hoops have sent scouts to watch the former Ipswich Town striker in action this season.

The Scottish Sun has also claimed that Championship trio Leeds United, Wednesday and Nottingham Forest all are interested in Marriott, who scored 27 goals and provided five assists in League One this season.
Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony seems to have suggested on social networking site Twitter that Celtic are indeed interested in Marriott.
Although MacAnthony has not given a straight answer whether or not Celtic want the 23-year-old striker, him not denying the Hoops’ (reported) interest do suggest that the Glasgow giants want to secure the services of Marriott in the summer transfer window.
