Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has not made a signing for over a year now.

Levy has been the mastermind behind Tottenham’s new stadium, which is hugely impressive.
But Levy does not seem content to sit back and admire his work, as his latest comments are telling.
The Spurs chairman seems to believe that the stadium can push his side on to the next level.
And if Levy does have plans to make Tottenham one of the biggest teams in the world then their budgets in the upcoming transfer windows are surely set to increase.
“Over the last 18 years this club has definitely moved forward,” he said. “Any club has its ups and downs but I hope we have created the infrastructure here to become one of the biggest clubs in the world.”

Spurs’ stadium will be a boost, but without investment on the pitch, Mauricio Pochettino’s side will struggle to achieve Levy’s aims.
It could, therefore, suggest that Levy is now prepared to loosen the pursestrings – as Spurs look to kick on.
Tottenham have competed for major honours frequently in recent seasons, but have been unable to get over the line.
But if Spurs do spend big this summer then they will surely be a force to be reckoned next term and in future years.
