Neil Lennon was confirmed as Celtic’s long-term manager today.

Celtic fans called for a return to the club for former scout John Park, but have comments from chief executive Peter Lawwell indicated that Congerton won’t be replaced?
Lennon was named as new manager on a permanent basis after the Bhoys’ 2-1 win over Hearts in the Scottish Cup final, completing a historic treble Treble.
Speaking to BBC Sport Scotland afterward, Lawwell praised Lennon and suggested that he would be leading the recruitment drive this summer than a new Head of Recruitment.
He told BBC Sport Scotland: “He’s done a fantastic job and he’s made for Celtic. He’s a winner and we’ve seen that here today. He has an eye for a player as well.
“We’ve got a bit of rebuilding to do here in the summer, so to have someone like Neil who can spot a player is fantastic.”
Congerton was the man pulling the strings when Brendan Rodgers in Glasgow and if Lennon isn’t working alongside somebody in that role, it indicates he and he alone will decide the transfers.
