Kristoffer Ajer was questionable in Celtic’s defeat this afternoon.

Ryan Christie hardly covered himself in glory for Celtic this afternoon, but the same is true of another of Neil Lennon’s players.
The Hoops midfielder was issued a first-half red card at Livingston earlier today, with the hosts ultimately cruising to a surprise 2-0 win over the Scottish Premiership champions.
Celtic fell behind on 47 minutes when Scott Robinson latched on to a defence-splitting pass from Robbie Crawford, before Lyndon Dykes put the game to bed in the final quarter.
But it’s the opening goal that annoyed Lennon, who told BBC Sport that there was ‘no excuse’ for Crawford having that much time to pick his pass: “We gave away a bad goal, too passive, lost the ball in a bad area, but we didn’t press Robbie Crawford before he played the through ball and there’s no excuse for that.”
The Celtic manager didn’t name him, but it was Kristoffer Ajer who stood off Crawford when he should have closed him down.
Instead of rushing out, the Norway international hesitated for long enough to allow Crawford to pick his pass for Robinson and the Bhoys paid a heavy price.
The defeat isn’t on Ajer, but he hasn’t been brilliant in recent weeks. This is a player in dire need of a kick up the backside and after his defending today, no doubt Lennon will give him one.
