Premier League giants Arsenal have been linked with highly-rated Romanian midfielder Catalin Carjan for a while now.
Romanian youngster Catalin Carjan has been tipped to sign for Arsenal for the last few months and fans will certainly be intrigued by his latest Instagram post.
The teenager admitted to DigiSport in August last year that he was set to join the Premier League giants and he could hardly hide his excitement.
“It’s something else,” Carjan said. “I cannot wait to go there to sign and it’s going to be much better.”
And it seems this is a move that has been on the cards for some time. Back in November 2017, Carjan posted a photo on his official Instagram account showing him posing in front of an empty Emirates Stadium.
Now, he was expected to complete his long-awaited move to North London in January but it seems that his switch was delayed – until now perhaps.
The transfer window is set to open once again in the coming weeks and it may be no coincidence that Carjan has just uploaded a photo of himself at an airport with the caption ‘New Chapter’.
Interestingly, Transfermarkt claim that the highly-rated attacking midfielder has been an Arsenal player for the last few months, suggesting that all that is needed now is for Carjan to up sticks and leave Romania for England on a full-time basis.
