Celtic have had an extremely quiet transfer window to date, with Brendan Rodgers side still looking for new recruits.

Celtic could yet lose both Dedryck Boyata and Moussa Dembele in the coming days, but they may not be the only players to depart from Parkhead.
Rodgers has hinted that Celtic will also look to offload a number of their fringe players.
He said: “There are going to be players going out on loan. Probably young players who will go and get experience. When I came in here, I felt before I touched a ball that it was too big [the squad] – one, in order for competition and two, for spirit.
“It’s very difficult when you’ve got 29 players plus goalkeepers and the squad is round about that just now, so naturally, it’s the same idea. It’s too big. It’s something I’m sure will change over the next few days.”

Rodgers loaning out many of his first-team squad would be risky, if Dembele and Boyata do depart, as Celtic’s options are fairly limited.
However, Rodgers’ suggestion that Celtic are willing to allow their fringe players to depart, surely suggests that he is confident that additions can be made.
The Bhoys have had a slow transfer window so far, with Odsonne Edouard their only addition.
But Celtic are still thought to be chasing new players, and Rodgers’ transfer plan may just suggest that arrivals could be on their way.
