‘Has Bielsa lost the plot’: Some Leeds fans fume at what coach has now said on £17m ace

Marcelo Bielsa last night delivered an update on Leeds United star Raphinha following their 2-0 loss to Arsenal.

Speaking to Leeds Live after the defeat, the Argentine coach said that the £17m signing from Stade Rennais will feature this weekend in the Premier League.

Raphinha was injured in Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Wolves. Yet Leeds boss Bielsa sounded confident that the Brazilian international will be back to full fitness for Sunday’s massive clash against Norwich City.

Bielsa said when asked if there were any further issues to Raphinha this week in Leeds training: “We think not.”

Indeed, the blunt answer was enough to give an impression that Raphinha, as well as Jamie Shackleton, will both likely feature on Sunday against the Canaries.

However, some Leeds fans on social media are not happy with the manner in which Bielsa delivered his update on Raphinha. The Whites have been poor all season, and now find themselves out of the League Cup.
