According to The Sun, West Ham and Southampton are interested in signing Bournemouth forward Arnaut Danjuma.

Now, he has spoken to Voetbal International about a range of different topics, including the talk about where his future lies.

Speaking to the Dutch news outlet about the interest in his services, Danjuma said: “There has been contact here and there, but nothing else has happened with it. I didn’t want to leave mid-season.

“As long as we get promoted to the Premier League, it will be beneficial for the club and for me. I’m not working on that (a transfer) yet.”

If Bournemouth don’t secure promotion to the Premier League, West Ham and Southampton should do their best to sign the Dutchman.

Danjuma is enjoying an incredible season with the Cherries.

The 24-year-old has scored 15 goals in 32 Championship outings, while also recording seven assists as well.

He has been a truly brilliant signing for Bournemouth, who brought him to England for just £13.7 million in August 2019.

Now, Danjuma looks settled in England, and aware of what it takes to succeed in a more physical style of football over on these shores.

In our view, Southampton need him more than West Ham.

David Moyes recently spent £30 million on Said Benrahma, but doesn’t tend to start the Algerian too often.

He’s only made 11 Premier League starts this term.

In that respect, Moyes should probably start using his big-money forward before spending more cash on another attacker.

Danjuma would surely have a better chance of game time at Southampton, who have a thinner squad in comparison to West Ham.
