The Gers saw off Neil Lennon’s Hibs with a superb 2-1 win at Easter Road, thanks to goals from Josh Windass and Alfredo Morelos, after Lewis Stevenson gave Hibernian the lead in the first half.
Barjonas played alongside Josh Windass, Jason Holt and Ross McCrorie in central midfield, as Murty continued to stick with his diamond formation that has seen the Light Blues win their last four Scottish Premiership outings.
Now, with the Gers preparing to face St. Johnstone at Ibrox on Saturday afternoon, Murty will have plenty of selection headaches when it comes to picking his starting eleven for the clash.
Graham Dorrans remains sidelined with an ankle injury, while Ryan Jack will serve the third of a three-match ban after being sent off against Aberdeen earlier this month.
Barjonas impressed in the middle of the park, despite not having a huge amount of impression as his intricate array of passing proved instrumental in helping the Scottish giants earn a narrow win.
Proving combative and determined, Barjonas did not seem out of place and for the sake of consistency, Murty should keep faith in the Rangers academy product as the Gers look to make it five wins on the spin this weekend.
With Niko Kranjcar, Daniel Candeias and Carlos Pena all vying for a place in the starting line-up, Murty should stick to his guns and include the teenager over the trio in order to give Rangers the best chance of victory.
