West Ham United reportedly want Corinthians defender Fabian Balbuena.

Fabian Balbuena appears to be on his way to West Ham United, as the 26-year-old central defender has bid a fond farewell to Corinthians on Twitter and Instagram.
Earlier this month, Brazilian giants Corinthians announced on their official website that an agreement has been reached with Premier League club West Ham over the transfer of Balbuena.
Although the Hammers have yet to make any official announcement, it does appear that the Paraguay international centre-back is on his way to the London outfit.
Balbuena has sent the following message to Corinthians on Twitter and Instagram, which when translated from Portuguese reads: “Eternally grateful to the club for everything.”
The defender added: “To my colleagues, the technical committee, the board of directors and the employees of the club, I have to thank you for everything. I learned a lot and the happiness that I spent here nobody will be able to take”
Potential bargain signing
According to The London Evening Standard, West Ham will pay Corinthians a transfer fee or around £3m in order to secure the services of Balbuena.

The Paraguay international may not be a household name, but the 26-year-old would be a decent addition to the West Ham defence and could prove to be a bargain signing.
West Ham have been quite busy so far in the summer transfer window, with Manuel Pellegrini’s side having signed Lukasz Fabianski from Swansea City, Ryan Fredericks, former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere and Andriy Yarmolenko from Borussia Dortmund among other players.
