Leeds United chairman Andrea Radrizzani was impressed with the performance of Ronaldo Vieira against Bristol City on Saturday afternoon.
Vieira is one of the best young midfielders in the Championship, and the 19-year-old was superb in the Whites’ 3-0 win at the Ashton Gate Stadium.
The talented and promising youngster did not score any of the goals in the Championship game, but the 19-year-old was hugely influential in the match.

After the game, Leeds chairman Radrizzani made the following post on Twitter and Instagram:

While Radrizzani’s post could well simply be a show of appreciation for Vieira, it could also be a subtle but strong message to head coach Thomas Christiansen.
The match against City was the England Under-20 international’s first start in the Championship.
It cannot be just a coincidence that Leeds ended a run of three league defeats on the same day that Vieira started.
Perhaps Radrizzani would like Christiansen to make the midfielder a regular in his team…
