Could Tottenham Hotspur be about to clinch another summer signing?

As reported by Football.London, Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot has excited Tottenham Hotspur fans with the apparent suggestion that his teammate Serge Aurier is indeed off to Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
In a recent video showing PSG defender Marquinhos dancing in front of the camera, Rabiot is heard saying, “Il va aller a Tottenham,” which translates as “He is going to go to Tottenham.”
Rabiot may have given the game away.
Now we do not for one minute think Rabiot is referring to the Brazilian centre-back, with the suggestion being that it is Aurier who will complete his move to North London before Thursday’s deadline. However only time will tell if this is a glance into the future or if a player is just having a bit of fun with the transfer window fast approaching its end.
Tottenham have signed Paulo Gazzaniga and Davinson Sanchez so far this summer and if Aurier follows he will challenge Kieran Trippier for a starting spot at right-back after Kyle Walker’s exit earlier this summer.

Aurier is a controversial figure but he could be just what Tottenham need as they look to build on last season’s impressive form and his experience of playing for a regular domestic champion will stand him in good stead.
Even if Aurier does arrive this month Tottenham really need another striker to ease the burden on Harry Kane, but it could be a challenge for Pochettino to get his man.
