Adrian’s form has been questioned in the last couple of games, so could West Ham United boss David Moyes look to make a change?

Joe Hart of Mancheater City shouts instructions during the Carabao Cup quarter final match between Arsenal and West Ham United at Emirates Stadium on December 19, 2017 in London, England.

When Joe Hart was dropped from the West Ham side back in November, it appeared that the Manchester City loanee’s spell at the London Stadium looked set to end in underwhelming fashion with the 30-year-old spending the remaining months of his time with the Irons largely on the bench and only featuring in cup games.

Adrian had impressed in the cup when Hart was the Hammers’ number one, and backed that form up with some very good performances when he displaced Hart following the 4-0 loss to Everton last year.

Adrian of West Ham United gives a thumbs up during the Premier League match between West Ham United and Everton at London Stadium on April 22, 2017 in Stratford, England.

The Spaniard has been a popular member of the squad amongst the fans since arriving, but he has never quite convinced the supporters that he is good enough to be the undisputed number one for a team that should be looking to challenge for top spot in the best of the rest table that begins from seventh spot in the Premier League.

However, his initial form after replacing Hart suggested that being sidelined for so long was a wake-up call and he was ready to make the most of his chance in the team.

But in the last two games, Adrian’s form has been called into question once again, and it appears that the door may have been left slightly open for Hart to potentially get the chance to try and end his loan spell on a high and prove that he is much better than what the West Ham fans have so far seen.

Adrian has conceded eight goals in his last two games, and there may be some fans who are, somewhat reluctantly, ready to see Hart come back in for the home game against Burnley this weekend.

And if Hart gets the nod, he needs to go on and prove why he has been a Premier League winner in the past and England’s number one for so long as it may be a defining run of games for both West Ham’s season and the stopper’s career beyond this campaign.
