Could Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes be tempted by the West Brom job this summer after latest comments?

A former Baggies player, McInnes was joined by Michael Appleton, Graham Potter and Dean Smith as potential candidates to succeed Pardew at the Hawthorns at the end of the season.

It looks almost certain that West Brom will be playing their football in the Championship next term with the 2-1 defeat at Bournemouth at the weekend their eighth successive loss in all competitions.
It keeps the club rock bottom of the Premier League table and ten points from safety and a change of management ahead of a season when they will be aiming to bounce straight back to the top flight is expected.
And has McInnes now hinted that a return to the side where he spent three years as a player could be tempting, despite having turned down moves to Sunderland and Rangers already this campaign?

The 46-year-old has managed in England before with Bristol City and seems to have now suggested he could be open to a return south of the border after almost five years with the Dons.
“I have got a plan for myself and there are certain clubs I would like to manage and certain countries you would like to manage in,” McInnes told the Scotsman.
“I think you have got to have a plan for yourself in a career whether you eventually fulfil those ambitions or not.”
