Liverpool ace Harvey Elliott has been hailed as a ‘game changer’ by Tyler Morton after his impact against Luton Town.

Tyler Morton was seemingly impressed with Liverpool substitute Harvey Elliott against Luton Town on Sunday afternoon.

The Reds were expected to coast to victory at Kenilworth Road but endured a very frustrating afternoon.

Liverpool just didn’t click and ended up going behind as Tahith Chong sent Luton fans absolutely wild.

Jurgen Klopp’s side did find a late leveller though as two substitutes linked up with Luis Diaz heading home Elliott’s cross.

Liverpool rescued a 1-1 draw and whilst Klopp was fuming with his side’s counter-pressing, one player has earned praise…

Harvey Elliott hailed by Liverpool talent Tyler Morton

Elliott came off the bench to try and unlock the Luton defence late in the game.

Dominik Szoboszlai has been hailed this season but it’s fair to say that he didn’t really have his best game in a Liverpool shirt.

Elliott came on to try and bring Liverpool a creative spark and he certainly delivered, picking up a perfect cross for Diaz to level the game.

The 20-year-old certainly caught the eye of Liverpool talent Tyler Morton, who is currently out on loan at Championship side Hull City.

Elliott took to Instagram to note that this just wasn’t Liverpool’s day, but thanked fans for their support.

Morton responded, simply calling Elliott a ‘game changer’ having come up with the big moment to set up Diaz’s goal.

Tough for Elliott to get into Liverpool side

Elliott is still considered to be a big talent but he has started just one Premier League game so far this season.

The former Fulham man has seen Szoboszlai become an Anfield hero this season whilst Ryan Gravenberch is now in the mix too.

That makes it difficult for Elliott to start top-flight games, instead having to settle for cup and Europa League appearances.

All Elliott can do is take his chances when they come, and he certainly did that on Sunday with an inch-perfect setup for Diaz’s late leveller.
