Gary Lineker has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Liverpool winger Harvey Elliott suffering a horrific injury against Leeds United at Elland Road today.
The Liverpool youngster was at the end of a challenge from Leeds defender Pascal Struijk in the 58th minute of the Premier League game.
The 18-year-old, who has been playing in midfield for Liverpool this season, was taken off soon after, and Struijk, who had come on as a substitute in the match, was shown a straight red card.
Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Lineker was following the match, and he hopes that the injury suffered by Elliott is not serious.
The BBC Match of the Day presenter has also said that he did not think that Struijk should have been shown a direct red card.
Former Liverpool star Luis Garcia has also wished Elliott the best of luck in his recovery from the injury.
The injury suffered by Elliott at Elland Road really looked horrific and serious.

The Liverpool players were clearly shocked, and Sky Sports did not show the replay of the incident.
Struijk did not mean to hurt the former Fulham youngster.
We hope that the Liverpool winger recovers soon.
It must be really disappointing and frustrating for Elliott to have suffered this injury just when he was starting to establish himself in the Liverpool first team.
