Arsenal youngster Miguel Azeez has taken to Instagram to express his delight at making his debut in the Europa League, and Liverpool-owned winger Harvey Elliott and Tottenham Hotspur prospect Dennis Cirkin have congratulated him.

Azeez was in action for Arsenal in their Europa League match against Dundalk away from home on Thursday evening.

The 18-year-old did not start the match for the Gunners, but the midfielder came on as a substitute in the 83rd minute, as Mikel Arteta’s side won 4-2.

According to WhoScored, the teenager had a pass accuracy of 90.9% and took 12 touches.

Elliott, 17, is on loan at Blackburn Rovers from Liverpool, and he has congratulated Azeez on his achievement, and so has 18-year-old Tottenham midfielder Cirkin.

Elliott responded: “Congrats brother ❤️”

Cirkin responded: Congrats bro ❤️”

Encouraging

It is very encouraging to see Elliott and Cirkin congratulate Azeez on his achievement at Arsenal.

The Liverpool-owned winger and the Tottenham midfielder are essentially his rivals (at least in the long run), but it is very good to see that they are happy for one of their colleagues, as he embarks on what could be a very successful career.
