West Bromwich Albion’s Harvey Barnes contributed to the demolition of the club he could’ve joined in the summer – Leeds United.

Leeds United were brought back down to earth with a bang on Saturday night.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side, who had been top of the Championship for much of the season, suffered a crippling 4-1 defeat away to promotion rivals West Bromwich Albion.
Bizarrely, it was 0-0 at the break, but Hal Robson-Kanu, Matty Phillips, Harvey Barnes and Dwight Gayle netted second-half goals to destroy the Whites, who pulled one back late on through Pablo Hernandez.
Every West Brom player will be delighted, but Barnes might well be that bit more satisfied, given what happened in the summer.
The 20-year-old Leicester City talent snubbed a move to Leeds in favour of joining the Baggies, even after picking a shirt number in Bielsa’s squad, according to The Express and Star.
Given how brilliant United have been this season, it’s plausible to consider that Barnes might’ve regretted the decision to snub Leeds at some points, but last night’s victory – and certainly the manner of it – means that he is probably pretty happy with his choice.
Bielsa’s side dropped down to third in the Championship as a result of the defeat, two points ahead of fifth-placed West Brom.
