The pair won 14 major trophies between them during their time at Celtic Park.
John Hartson says he doubts that either he or Chris Sutton would get into Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic team.
The Bhoys are flying under the Ulsterman in this season’s Scottish Premiership, having already established an 11-point lead over second-place Rangers with two games in hand.
Together, Celtic strikers Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths have scored 28 goals in 52 games in all competitions, despite rarely featuring at the same time.

However, Hartson and Sutton were not too shabby themselves, scoring 195 goals and winning 14 major trophies between them during Martin O’Neill’s reign as Celtic Park boss.
Even so, when asked during a Twitter Q & A session if the pair would keep out Rodgers’ current striking options, the Welshman replied:
But while Dembele and Griffiths may be better than Hartson and Sutton, which of the latter pair were better individually?
The 41-year-old’s response was equally modest. He added:
That said, with Sutton tagged in both questions, could Hartson have said anything else?

Would Hartson and Sutton get in ahead of Dembele and Griffiths? And was Sutton really better than Hartson?
