Harte, who started his professional club football career at Leeds and is a legend at Elland Road, was delighted to see Denton scored twice for the Whites’ Under-23 side against their Bristol City counterparts on Monday evening.
The 22-year-old, who can operate as a left-back or as a midfielder, scored in the 79th and the 89th minute to help his team to a 4-0 win at Asthon Gate in the Professional Development League.
Harte was delighted to see the former England Under-17 international score twice for the Leeds Under-23 side.

First-team chances
Denton is a very good and promising young player, but the versatile 22-year-old has yet to make a breakthrough in the Leeds first team.
Perhaps the youngster could get his chance n the final weeks of the campaign, with Leeds having nothing left to play for in the Championship.
