Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Harry Winks has sent a message to fans after the club’s shock defeat to Newcastle United.
Winks started for Spurs in the 1-0 home loss on Sunday afternoon.
Winks was pictured looking reflective after the defeat.
He said via Instagram he was already looking forward to the next game to try and put it right.
Tottenham face Arsenal away next and this is a fixture which could kickstart their season.
A defeat would really put them into a negative cycle, but at the moment Tottenham have to be positive.
Winks himself was criticised on social media from fans during the game for not offering enough.
Tottenham have plenty of options in midfield and the England international is not a guaranteed starter for the clash at The Emirates.
After just one win to start the season, manager Mauricio Pochettino will certainly be considering his options.
