Hugo Lloris and Harry Winks starred for Tottenham Hotspur against Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Winks made the comments about Lloris following Tottenham’s 1-1 draw with Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.
The 30-year-old goalkeeper made a number of saves against the defending European champions to help his side to a point.
Winks also played against Madrid and gave a good account of himself against Zinedine Zidane’s side.

The 21-year-old England international has praised the performance of Lloris, who has been on the books of Spurs since the summer of 2012 when he joined from French club Lyon for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £11.8 million.
“He is world class, one of the best keepers in the world,” Winks told The Daily Mail about Lloris. “He kept us in the game with some fantastic saves.
“The Benzema chance, the way he saved it I will never know. He makes saves not many people can which is why he’s up there with the best keepers in the world.”

Lloris is one of the best goalkeepers on the planet and is world class – his performance against Madrid proves that.
The draw against Madrid has enhanced Tottenham’s chances of progressing to the last-16 stage of the Champions League this season.
