The Tottenham Hotspur duo have forged an impressive partnership this season.

Tottenham ace Harry Winks spoke exclusively to the club’s official website, and raved about his teammate Moussa Sissoko, suggesting that the Frenchman sets a fine example to every other professional footballer.
The 29-year-old joined Spurs from Newcastle United on transfer deadline day in the summer of 2016 for a then club record fee of £30 million, according to BBC Sport, and he initially struggled to establish himself in north London.
Sissoko has really risen to the fore this season, however, producing the goods on a consistent basis for Tottenham, and he has undoubtedly been one of Mauricio Pochettino’s best performers.
And Winks spoke incredibly highly of his Spurs teammate, when speaking exclusively to the club’s official website, highlighting how the Frenchman’s hard work and dedication is finally starting to pay off:
“That just shows how mentally strong Moussa is and how much of a top professional and role model he is. I can’t speak highly enough of him. Moussa’s story is incredible really. It’s fair to say the first two seasons didn’t go the way he wanted them to, he had a lot of lows, but here is someone you can draw so much inspiration from in everything he’s done, everything he’s worked on.”
Winks went on to say:

He’s a great person as well as a great a player. His character around the dressing room is just as important as his ability and his influence on the pitch. He’s a top, top guy and everyone is so happy for the season he has had.”
Tottenham still have one vitally important game left this season – the Champions League final against Liverpool on June 1st, and Sissoko’s rise to prominence has been such that he will surely be one of the first names on Pochettino’s team-sheet.
