Tottenham Hotspur head coach Nuno has said on Sky Sports Premier League (4:05pm, September 26, 2021) that he dropped Harry Winks against Arsenal in the North London derby.

Nuno has said that Winks was fit and available to play for Spurs against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium yesterday.

However, the Tottenham head coach has said that it was not possible for him to include the 25-year-old midfielder in the matchday due to other players.

Nuno said on Sky Sports Premier League (4:05pm, September 26, 2021) about Winks: “Because we have to make decisions. Unfortunately it’s not possible to include everybody.”

Worrying times for Harry Winks?

The North London derby against Arsenal is one of the biggest games in the calendar for Tottenham.

And Winks cannot even get into the squad, let alone the team.

It must be worrying and disappointing for the 25-year-old midfielder.

Winks has played just 61 minutes in the Premier League so far this season.

Now, there is a very good chance that the England international will struggle to get much playing time in the coming weeks.

We should not be surprised if Winks eventually decides to find a new club to join in January.

Winks is a very good midfielder with a lot of experience in the Premier League.

We do not think that Winks will struggle to find a club in the Premier League if he makes himself available in January.

The Times reported this month that Aston Villa and Everton wanted to sign Winks from Spurs in the summer transfer window.
