Harry Winks could help play a part in Tottenham securing the signature of Arsenal transfer target, Richarlison, from Everton this summer, according to a report.

The Telegraph report that, with Everton’s interest in Winks, Spurs could use their midfielder in possible negotiations that sees both players moving in ‘opposite directions’.

Everton, who survived relegated on the penultimate day of the 2021/22 Premier League campaign, will seemingly demand over £50 million for their player that Frank Lampard dubbed a ‘huge talent’ just last month (Liverpool Echo).

In an ideal world, Everton wouldn’t want to sell their star forward to either Spurs or Arsenal, even if they are in Europe, but their financial situation might dictate otherwise.

There is a sense of uncertainty as to where the Merseyside giants are at, with their Premier League rivals keen to pounce on that situation.

WHO DOES RICHARLISON SIGN FOR?

With Spurs playing Champions League football next season, they will feel that Richarlison would sign on the dotted line for them over Arsenal.

But could Mikel Arteta provide the Brazil international with more game time because, at the end of the day, he’s not going to get ahead of Heung-Min Son or Harry Kane anytime soon.

Either way, there seems to be some legs regarding this possible transfer because, despite Richarlison playing for a struggling Everton side over the years, he still has huge admirers.

He scored ten Premier League goals and supplied five assists this season, with seven goals coming from the versatile forward during the previous campaign.
