Tottenham Hotspur booked their place in the semi-finals of the FA Cup on Sunday afternoon by hammering Millwall 6-0 at White Hart Lane.
Spurs went into the tie having seen off three Football League clubs already, beating Aston Villa, Wycombe Wanderers and Fulham en route to the last eight, whilst Millwall had pulled off three giantkillings, beating Premier League sides Bournemouth, Watford and Leicester.
Tottenham were dealt a major blow in the first half as Harry Kane suffered an ankle injury, but Christian Eriksen and Son Heung-min both found the net before half-time with fine strikes.
Spurs didn’t relent against their London rivals, as Son volleyed home a third, Dele Alli made it four, Vincent Janssen scored his first goal from open play to make it five, and Son rounded off his hat-trick with number six.
In the final ever FA Cup tie at White Hart Lane, Mauricio Pochettino’s men produced a clinical display, and players took to Twitter after the final whistle to send messages to fans.
Goalkeeper Michel Vorm, handed a rare start in place of Hugo Lloris, looked ahead to a Wembley semi-final, whilst defenders Kyle Walker – and unused substitute – Jan Vertonghen, Toby Alderweireld and Ben Davies celebrated the win.
