Wilson has been linked with a move to Rangers following Steven Gerrard’s appointment as Ibrox boss earlier this month.
Liverpool’s Harry Wilson could have another incentive to sign for Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers ahead of other interested clubs.
Wilson saw Gerrard, the legendary ex-Liverpool captain and Under-18s coach, quit Anfield for Ibrox earlier this month.
And the young Wales winger is said to be among the new Rangers manager’s summer transfer targets.
But a move to Glasgow would not only reunite Wilson with Gerrard, with Jordan Rossiter, the 21-year-old’s long-time friend and ex-Anfield teammate, also on the Gers’ books.
The pair, who were born just two days apart in March 1997, joined Liverpool at under-6 (Rossiter) and under-9 (Wilson) levels and played alongside one another until the former left for Rangers in 2016.
And after providing seven goals and three assists in 13 games on loan to Hull City in the second half of the season, Gers fans may hope to see a reenactment of the following photo in the coming weeks and months – only with blue shirts on this time.
