West Bromwich Albion are amongst the long list of clubs interested in signing Liverpool attacker Harry Wilson.

The Liverpool Echo reports that 12 second tier sides hope to sign Wilson ahead of the new campaign, so Darren Moore is certainly going to have to do a lot to make sure that the Baggies win the race. A move to The Hawthorns, on paper, looks to be one of the more appealing options, but there are too many teams in the race for Moore to allow any complacency to creep in.

Wilson enjoyed a superb loan spell at Hull City last season, and the Baggies must certainly now do all they can to bring him in as he could be a fantastic addition for the coming campaign.
The 21-year-old scored seven goals in just 13 appearances for the Tigers. They were a side battling towards the wrong end of the table, and the Reds youngster was used in wide areas, so that return is remarkable, and a repeat of that over an entire season could have a massive hand in putting a better side right in the promotion mix.

West Brom need to add to their attacking options. The Express and Star recently reported that James McClean is closing in on a loan move to Stoke City, and the fans would probably admit that they would be surprised if the likes of Salomon Rondon, Jay Rodriguez stuck around.
Wilson would obviously not strengthen the club’s striker options, but he would make West Brom significantly more dangerous in the final third and his arrival may perhaps make it easier to attract any striker targets in as he has proven that he can score and create chances.
And as a move is not going to cost as much as a permanent deal, there are perhaps few better pieces of business that West Brom could get done this summer.
Winning the race however, is going to be an extremely difficult task.
