Leeds United should make a move for Liverpool forward Harry Wilson.

According to recent reports from ESPN, Liverpool youngster Harry Wilson has rejected the offer of an extended deal with the Reds, which could prompt a switch to the Championship.

The 20-year-old has been a key player for the Liverpool U23 side throughout his time with the club.

He finds himself in a tricky position, as he is far too good to be representing the side in the academy levels, but he is probably not yet ready for senior first-team action.

Wilson will no doubt shine in the Championship given his excellent technique and an industrious edge which he has added to his game in recent months.

He could be a fantastic option for sides chasing promotion and that is why Leeds United should make a move for him in January.

Liverpool probably won’t allow him to leave permanently, so a loan move would be ideal in this case.

Thomas Christiansen could be looking to bolster his attacking department, and Wilson would fit the bill nicely.

The Welsh forward has been in superb form this season, scoring 11 goals already and laying off a further 10 in 15 appearances.

All he needs is an exposure away from Anfield, and the move to a top Championship club like Leeds could be very important in his career.

If he makes a strong impact in the Championship and helps Leeds gain promotion, it will put him in a strong position to make a claim for a first team role at Anfield next season.
