Aston Villa should look to sign Liverpool striker Harry Wilson in January.
Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce has lamented about his squad been left to bare bones with so many key players missing with injuries.
The Villa manager said that he would love to sign a striker in January, but with funds not available, he would have to wheel and deal to bring in good players.
And that is why he should make a move for the exciting Liverpool forward Harry Wilson, who is facing an uncertain future at the Anfield club.
According to a report from ESPN, the 20-year-old has rejected the offer of an extended deal with the Merseyside club. This could prompt a switch to the Championship, either on loan or on a permanent basis.
Wilson is a fantastic young talent, and will no doubt shine in the Championship if given time to settle. He could make a huge difference to sides chasing promotion, and that is why, Villa should take a gamble on him.
He has been a key player for the Reds’ Academy side, and has been in fine form this season, having scored loads of goals and providing assists as well.
The problem with him is that he is too good to be playing on the reserve team, but at the same time, he probably is not ready for Premiership action.
A move to the Championship will do a world of good to his career, and Aston Villa should sign him up before other clubs move in. He would be a superb addition to the side.
